Little Teaser Chapter of Knights of Runascore

I already announced it on Facebook last week, but here is a little teaser of Knights of Runascore. If you fear to spoil yourself, no worries, this story features one of the “side” characters. It’s an extra chapter from his POV. While I was organizing some old files I discovered this chapter which was written before I put KoR on hold to write Hidden GMs Destiny. Seeing that it doesn’t spoil the story and also goes along well with Gods Ordeal, I decided to post it as a little teaser~

That being said… This character is my favourite character from KoR and can without a doubt be found on my “top 10 most favourite (own) characters list”, because he’s way too hilarious. (Though at the same time I truly wonder how I came up with such a character… *facepalms*)

BUT before you run off and start reading, I have to share a few informations about him, the great Gustav, so you can fully enjoy the story!

 

Let me first describe Gustavs appearance. He’s a giant (over 30 m tall) black colored prawn, has three pairs of black feathered wings, his (main) two eyes are red and his whole body is covered with hundreds (if not thousands) of white colored (additional) eyes.

He’s one of the Necromancer Gods of the world of KoR, but he has the least followers, because only a few people believe that “something like that” exists, even more so that there is a “god” with such a strange appearance. Only his own followers, who are seen as a strange sect even among other Necromancers, believe his existence and are avid admirers of his greatness (*cough, cough* If you read the first story of Gods Ordeal… Valderas followers are nothing compared to the avid Gustav sect members in regards of being totally devoted to their god. And one of the MCs is a Gustav follower. *cough, cough*).

Author Note: He’s a huge narcissist and has an amazing ability to MISUNDERSTAND human behaviour! For example… if people faint, scream in terror or start to run for their life (just from witnessing his ugly and strange appearance), he strictly believes they are enamoured with his marvellous beauty….

Well, this should be enough info to fully enjoy the chapter! Please always keep his appearance in mind while reading for the best effect~

 

Gustav POV extra chapter “My Beautiful Self”.

(If you already liked the chicken of Hidden GMs Destiny, I’m quite sure you’ll love Gustav! Now… I wonder if he gains more followers??! *shiver*)

 

I’ll add this chapter to the Oneshot and KoR page, so it’s easier to find. Next up will be a Gods Ordeal story(still being proofread as of this moment).

Hidden GMs Destiny Chapter 5 part 1

Here is the first part of chapter 5 of Hidden GMs Destiny~

Because the cover won’t be revealed yet, but I still wanted to add at least a picture… I went ahead and uhmm…experimented a bit with Photoshop (aka the author had fun playing around PS while recovering from the surgery)! So from now on I’ll use the picture, you can see in this post, on the Hidden GM page and for the future release announcement posts (at least until the lich arc is over…then I either switch it out completly with a new one or edit it a bit to fit the next arc better). When volume 1 (german version) will be up for purchase the cover will replace this picture on the Hidden GM page.

I also changed  the domain to selkinnovel.com (the old one will automatically redirect you to the new one).

Furthermore now that more chapters are released, I went ahead and added a  previous and next chapter link at the bottom of every released chapter to improve the reading experience. It should be more convenient for new readers this way!^^

Regarding the last poll result: 80% of all votes was for “keep it as is” so with this overwhelming majority there will be no changes. So in case you want to write a comment and make sure that it won’t get deleted later on please either comment on the release post or wait for when the whole of ch 5 is posted on a single page.

It’s really hot in Germany right now (anyone who also has a room or flat under the roof probably can feel my pain!). My flat has no air conditioner so I’m melting… literally… I really should buy an (electric) fan before I dry up. Tomorrow it’ll be even hotter (40°C; my flat probably will be around 45+…). Right now I use a japanese fan to keep me alive..x.x” Like this one here. Just with fishes as the motive. I really wouldn’t know what to do without it~ *fans herself like crazy while writing ‘one hand style’*

I’m feeling a lot better now and slowly get back to work while I still focus on recovering.

As previously promised, here is one of the oneshot chapters as a tiny apology for the absence of updates. Hidden GMs Destiny chapter 5 is currently being proofread (it’s around 17 pages long) and I hope I can release it as soon as possible.

Happy Easter!^^

After me messing around a bit on april fools day, I have the second part of chapter 3 for you as a little Easter present today. It marks the actual start of the “lich twin arc” with the world quest announcement.

I also made a facebook page and rss page with feedburner so it’s easier for everyone to keep track of the updates (aside from visiting my blog, subscribing via e-mail or visiting the Cave Scanlations update page).

Here are also the current poll results:

The Chicken: 44% (the undefeatable champion!)

Keruna and the Lich Twins: 17%

Fienja: 11%

Kaje and Maeda: 6%

Anyone else: 0% (I kinda feel sorry for Sion but guess the chicken stomped all over his votes!)

It’s still open so you have still the chance to vote for your favourite character if you didn’t do it yet.

As usual, I’ll upload this chapters part and upload the whole chapter a few days later and delete the single parts, so everyone has enough time to continue reading where they left off in part 1 without searching for the sentences where part 1 ended.

After the unbelievable high popularity of a certain NPC from the first “favourite character poll”. I decided to switch out the main character Keruna with the most popular one from the poll~ After all the previous main character even failed to win 19%) against his old nemesis (44%) in a mere poll…

So with this said, I present to you the new main character of Hidden GMs Destiny – The Chicken!!

Please follow the chicken on its long journey to find new comrades and fight bravely against its archenemy – the worst evil of chickenkind, cooks! Be ready to be thrown into an epic story of feather-tearing drama, epic soup engredients, friendships and the beginning of the great chicken empire! Of course the name of the story will be changed to ‘Hidden Chickens Destiny’ over time. Please continue to support our new main character from now on~

Of course this was an easy-to-see-through april fools day joke (or actually more some stupid nonsense the author came up with after doing an all nighter and being too sleep deprived to stay in the world of sanity…) from me based on the high popularity of the chicken up till now…xD I won’t replace Keruna…no worries! (Though a part of me was tempted to write a tiny story about a chicken conquering the world, so I probably end up writing a short version for my own satisfaction and share it with some friends who tend to like such crazy stuff *cough*)

Well if the chickens popularity continues to rise like this I fear Keruna will get a different kind of trauma this time…xP

 

Hidden GMs Destiny Chapter 3 Part 1 // new Poll & old poll results

The old polls result led to an exact 50-50 result (whole vs part upload) in the end, so I decided to go for a “half a chapter” release for now. There will be a second release preference poll in the future though!

This time I’ve a new poll where you can vote for your favourite character from the ones who already appeared except for the lich twins. They will appear in the second part of this chapter so the poll will be up for a longer time with a multiple choice vote with up to three votes (so you can vote either for one or for the three characters you like the most). I’ll make this “popularity poll” regulary in the future from now on.

Cave Scanlations just finished proofreading the last part of chapter 2 yesterday late at night. (Thanks guys but please take some breaks and don’t drop dead on me!O-O”)

Within this week I’ll delete the part uploads but I hope this will give everyone who read the chapters in parts enough time to read the last part without searching where you stopped reading before. I’ve also compiled this chapter on one page for everyone who prefers reading it in one go. (Depending on the poll results I’ll continue this style for everyones reading convenience and for my admin panel not being clogged with hundreds of pages~)

CS also found a new proofreader so the next chapter maybe even can be released within this month as well!=D

Here are the current poll results. Sadly it’s still near the same outcome as last time so I decided to give the poll a bit more time until I start posting chapter 3. If the results stay this way I’ll think my idea of posting half a chapter with every update is probably the best solution for everyone who voted…x.x” Actually it’s only one vote more for “a whole chapter” compared to “in parts” and if we count half a chapter as parts too the “part fraction” would win. But let us see what will happen over the next days!

I also think I’ll make a little popularity poll with the next chapter. I’m really eager to know which characters you all like the most (It won’t change the story though..xP But I maybe will write some more side stories based on the results~).
