Lil update:
Namorax still seems to have trouble with his laptop. So I thought: “I’m atm writing some stories for a certain manga contest (working together with two artists), so why not share the stories a bit?”
If you’re ineterested, click the below link to see Estoriel slaving himself away to translae (it’ll be proofread later and this is totally not related to my revenge for his old mistake of uploading in the wrong folder!).
The story he is working on today is called “Crystal Guardian” and he’s translating the prologu of a story which was sitting on my laptop for a long time. This first translation progress is to see if the translators are interested in it, if so I’ll adjust the story further t make it fitting for the contest.
So in short: This is a chance to get a glimpse on a story which I didn’t publish on my blog yet. If we don’t use this story for the contest of if you guys like it a lot, I’ll force Estoriel to translate more and publish it on my blog (so please leave some comments if you like it~).
Btw Estoriel doesn’t know about this yet (while he’s translating), hehehe, so feel free to surprise him with your visit..xP
And maybe I continue this style for the other stories?😈

Next up some news about me moving to a different (far away) city:

Because of the large distance I’m still not done moving everything out of my old flat and into the new one and I can only slowly work on it on the weekends because I’ve a full time job. Despite that I have some good news: The whole process is done latest at the end of December and then the updates will be more regular again!

Now to a topic I already mentioned on my facebook page (if you already saw it there, just skip this part there isn’t anything new):

Many probably already noticed this but aho-updates.com didn’t update since a long time ago.
And by now I highly doubt that the site owner will fix it so the only way to receive notifications of updates for Hidden GMs Destiny and Gods Ordeal is via email, my facebook page, subscribing to my wordpress page when you’re registered over wordpress or via https://www.wlnupdates.com/ … :(

This is the only website left which accepts updates of translated non-asian novels aside from aho-updates as far as I know.

Most of you were updated via aho-updates for HGD and GO in the past (I know this from the website statistics) so I can imagine how many of you are inconvenienced because of this. *sigh*

I used this website as well, especially for the many non-asian novels which I like to read. So the day when aho-updates stopped operating was a real loss in my eyes for all non-asian authors listed there… X:

If you know any other website similar to wlnupdates or aho-updates which accept non-asian novels please let me know.

 

Major Announcement for Hidden GMs Destiny (april fools day joke)

After the unbelievable high popularity of a certain NPC from the first “favourite character poll”. I decided to switch out the main character Keruna with the most popular one from the poll~ After all the previous main character even failed to win 19%) against his old nemesis (44%) in a mere poll…

So with this said, I present to you the new main character of Hidden GMs Destiny – The Chicken!!

Please follow the chicken on its long journey to find new comrades and fight bravely against its archenemy – the worst evil of chickenkind, cooks! Be ready to be thrown into an epic story of feather-tearing drama, epic soup engredients, friendships and the beginning of the great chicken empire! Of course the name of the story will be changed to ‘Hidden Chickens Destiny’ over time. Please continue to support our new main character from now on~

Of course this was an easy-to-see-through april fools day joke (or actually more some stupid nonsense the author came up with after doing an all nighter and being too sleep deprived to stay in the world of sanity…) from me based on the high popularity of the chicken up till now…xD I won’t replace Keruna…no worries! (Though a part of me was tempted to write a tiny story about a chicken conquering the world, so I probably end up writing a short version for my own satisfaction and share it with some friends who tend to like such crazy stuff *cough*)

Well if the chickens popularity continues to rise like this I fear Keruna will get a different kind of trauma this time…xP

 

Hidden GMs Destiny Chapter 3 Part 1 // new Poll & old poll results

The old polls result led to an exact 50-50 result (whole vs part upload) in the end, so I decided to go for a “half a chapter” release for now. There will be a second release preference poll in the future though!

This time I’ve a new poll where you can vote for your favourite character from the ones who already appeared except for the lich twins. They will appear in the second part of this chapter so the poll will be up for a longer time with a multiple choice vote with up to three votes (so you can vote either for one or for the three characters you like the most). I’ll make this “popularity poll” regulary in the future from now on.

Hidden GMs Destiny Chapter 2 Part 3 (chapter 2 end)

Cave Scanlations just finished proofreading the last part of chapter 2 yesterday late at night. (Thanks guys but please take some breaks and don’t drop dead on me!O-O”)

Within this week I’ll delete the part uploads but I hope this will give everyone who read the chapters in parts enough time to read the last part without searching where you stopped reading before. I’ve also compiled this chapter on one page for everyone who prefers reading it in one go. (Depending on the poll results I’ll continue this style for everyones reading convenience and for my admin panel not being clogged with hundreds of pages~)

CS also found a new proofreader so the next chapter maybe even can be released within this month as well!=D

Here are the current poll results. Sadly it’s still near the same outcome as last time so I decided to give the poll a bit more time until I start posting chapter 3. If the results stay this way I’ll think my idea of posting half a chapter with every update is probably the best solution for everyone who voted…x.x” Actually it’s only one vote more for “a whole chapter” compared to “in parts” and if we count half a chapter as parts too the “part fraction” would win. But let us see what will happen over the next days!

  • In parts (faster uploads): 35%
  • As a whole chapter (slower uploads): 41%
  • Half of the chapter (moderate upload speed): 24%

I also think I’ll make a little popularity poll with the next chapter. I’m really eager to know which characters you all like the most (It won’t change the story though..xP But I maybe will write some more side stories based on the results~).

Chapter 2 comes a bit later as planned, because Cave Scanlations has only a few proofreaders at hand right now but here is the first part of it. I’ll release the chapter in smaller parts this time so you all don’t have to wait for too long. I will add the parts on the chapter overview page and when all of them are released, I’ll remove the parts and exchange it for the whole chapter on said page. If you prefer this method (faster+more but short updates) over the slower “whole chapter at once release” please leave a comment or vote in the poll I attached to this post. As always huge thanks to the hardworking CS staff translating the novel!>_<” Chapter 3 was also already translated by them and waits to be proofread.

There was also someone asking where to purchase the ebook on the Cave Scanlation chatbox so I thought it’s better to inform you all here about the future plans:

The story about our Hidden GM is originally written in German and CS is translating it before the actual release. They one day  contacted me and discussed about a “pre-release” offer in English on my blog, translated and proofread by them which I accepted. The blog version is not the final version though, there may be some minor or even heavy changes to the story when the actual release occurs and there will be some bonus stories included, which won’t be released on this blog. Provided we find a good English translator and editor it will also be available in English to purchase. This is all the information I can provide you with at the moment.
