Status update

There weren’t many updates for Hidden GMs Destiny in may because I’m injured right now and had to visit the surgeon. I’m still recovering but I hope that I can at least post the next chapter within this month. Because of the long time with no updates I decided to upload another oneshot, or better a series of oneshots (the chapters are all connected but each tells it’s own story), as an apology. Unlike Hidden GMs Destiny the chapters will be released irregulary though to not affect the Hidden GMs releases.

 

Meanwhile I have another poll regarding the future releases of Hidden GMs Destiny. It will be open until I release part 2 of the next chapter. This time you can vote for one of two options and it mainly affects the readers who read the part versions instead of the whole chapter and write comments.

Until now I released the chapters in parts and later on uploaded the whole chapter, while deleting the parts after a few days. Sadly, this will also remove the comments on these pages (and I feel really bad over this!!) because Worpress don’t seem to have an option to move them to a new page (aka the whole chapter versions). And because I feel bad about deleting comments I want you, as the readers, to decide if you prefer using the old way for posting updates, which is more convenient for the readers who read the parts and don’t wait for the full chapter versions, or if you prefer keeping the comments and have a bit more scrolling inconvenience.

 

Let me introduce you to the two options and their pro and cons.

1. Keep it as it is

Pro: It’s easier to continue reading from the point where you left off at the previous released part // no time wasted to search

Con: Comments will disappear // If you want your comment to stay you either have to post on the release post or wait until the whole chapter is released to post // Author has to manually remove the parts and feels bad about the lost comments

 

2. Change it to “highlight it with colour”

If I use this way, I’ll create tha page for the whole chapter, post the first part there and will colour-highlight the last sentence of the first part when I post the second part of the chapter, so you know where you left off last time when you read.

Pro: All comments will stay where they belong to and you have part 1+2 comments on a single page // Author don’t have to agonize about lost comments written by the awesome readers

Con: Extra effort/scrolling to search for the coloured sentence (=inconvenient) <–especially if you read on your mobile phone

Today I have some good news for all spanish readers: Hidden GMs Destiny (webnovel version) will also be translated into spanish! I’ll post more informations when the prologue is fully translated.

It’s the last part of this chapter. As usual, I’ll merge the parts into the whole chapter within the next few days and remove the single parts. This should give everyone who already read part 1 and 2 enough time to read the last part without looking for where they stopped reading.

As previously on facebook announced, here’s the next part of chapter 4. This part is the shortest from the three (the next one will be the longest).

The poll is also closed now and here are the results:

The Chicken was the most popular (40% of all votes!) and won once more against Keruna~ Though Keruna seems to slowly get stronger (35%) and maybe has a chance in the next poll for the first place. 5% each of the votes went to Maeda, Keradis and the lich twins. Fieja and Sion are sharing the fourth place with 4% each, followed by Kaje with 2%.

I’m really looking forward to the next favourite character poll now. Though with increasing characters and appearing boss monsters as well as NPCs, I’ll devide it into PCs and NPCs.

Hidden GMs Destiny Chapter 4 part 1

First off another huge thanks to G.S. for supporting me so much!! (I’ll definitely send a free ebook copy to you as a small gift for your support.) Furthermore, I decided to write down all donators (aside from the special thanks page in the ebook) under the credits of each chapter.

I also want to thank the cave staff once more for their proofreading efforts and especially Miniechi who recommended some artists for the novels covers and drawings. All donations will partly go to commissioning the artist(s) as well as the cave staff for their efforts for proofreading (they use it to pay their server, RAWs, and if this is covered also their proofreaders).

Today I have the first part of the next chapter of Hidden GMs Destiny for you all! This chapter is longer than the previous ones and to lessen the strain on the Cave Scanlation proofreaders it will be parted into three parts instead of two this time.

In the future I will announce on my facebook page if a chapter/part is nearly ready to be posted so you know when it’ll appear on the blog. You can also ask questions on the porgress there if you want!^^ I’ll also share a few 3D practice works (I’m still at the early learning stages) there, which I created with Cinema 4D, to make the waiting time a bit more bearable this way!xD”

Happy Easter!^^

After me messing around a bit on april fools day, I have the second part of chapter 3 for you as a little Easter present today. It marks the actual start of the “lich twin arc” with the world quest announcement.

I also made a facebook page and rss page with feedburner so it’s easier for everyone to keep track of the updates (aside from visiting my blog, subscribing via e-mail or visiting the Cave Scanlations update page).

Here are also the current poll results:

Anyone else: 0% (I kinda feel sorry for Sion but guess the chicken stomped all over his votes!)

As usual, I’ll upload this chapters part and upload the whole chapter a few days later and delete the single parts, so everyone has enough time to continue reading where they left off in part 1 without searching for the sentences where part 1 ended.

After the unbelievable high popularity of a certain NPC from the first “favourite character poll”. I decided to switch out the main character Keruna with the most popular one from the poll~ After all the previous main character even failed to win 19%) against his old nemesis (44%) in a mere poll…

So with this said, I present to you the new main character of Hidden GMs Destiny – The Chicken!!

Please follow the chicken on its long journey to find new comrades and fight bravely against its archenemy – the worst evil of chickenkind, cooks! Be ready to be thrown into an epic story of feather-tearing drama, epic soup engredients, friendships and the beginning of the great chicken empire! Of course the name of the story will be changed to ‘Hidden Chickens Destiny’ over time. Please continue to support our new main character from now on~

Of course this was an easy-to-see-through april fools day joke (or actually more some stupid nonsense the author came up with after doing an all nighter and being too sleep deprived to stay in the world of sanity…) from me based on the high popularity of the chicken up till now…xD I won’t replace Keruna…no worries! (Though a part of me was tempted to write a tiny story about a chicken conquering the world, so I probably end up writing a short version for my own satisfaction and share it with some friends who tend to like such crazy stuff *cough*)

Well if the chickens popularity continues to rise like this I fear Keruna will get a different kind of trauma this time…xP

 

Hidden GMs Destiny Chapter 3 Part 1 // new Poll & old poll results

The old polls result led to an exact 50-50 result (whole vs part upload) in the end, so I decided to go for a “half a chapter” release for now. There will be a second release preference poll in the future though!

This time I’ve a new poll where you can vote for your favourite character from the ones who already appeared except for the lich twins. They will appear in the second part of this chapter so the poll will be up for a longer time with a multiple choice vote with up to three votes (so you can vote either for one or for the three characters you like the most). I’ll make this “popularity poll” regulary in the future from now on.
